which means we received more than expected. Putting us at just under
$9,000 per student . Also , we will now receive extra funds for foreign
exchange students ($4,000).
6. Human Resources: Korie Wilson
a. Professional development for support staff (1st time) on December
6th. Also, trying to pass on the info that problems need to be solved
with the closest individual to that problem…start with the teacher then
principal then move up from there if needed.
7. ISAC member issues:
REF- 40 grants being processed. Save the date : March 7th will be THE TASTE at Blyfield Country Club. Tickets are $50 a piece and
go back into RPS. Student grants are open until April 30th.

- Superintendents report: Dr. Mike Shibler a. EEE virus- all games will be held early as they have been. Friday news 8 will be at RHS all day for football frenzy. Football game at 5pm. May be hosting play offs here, time 7pm. b. OK2SAY presentation to MASA: Using Rockford as example. Dr. Shibler will be speaking to other Superintendents. Calls go to directly to attorney generals office where it is answered and immediately given to Scott Beckman (head of security at RPS). Parents can also use this hotline. C. LEGISLATIVE/GRASSROOTS: no new report
- Curriculum: Mike Ramm a. North RMS therapy dog- Chillie , a beautiful lab, is helping students with many things at school. Through an REF donation and partnerships with chow hound, rogue river vet, & Interest detection canine NRMS is able to have this therapy dog. She has been quite a hit so far, helping increase feelings of connection to school, positive mental health, social emotional learning skills & decrease negative behaviors. b. Literacy blocks: literacy is a main focus of learning and many aspects contribute from phonics to literacy blocks many aspects are being utilized to teach our students. c. eSports: gaming club was started by students last year. RHS one of the first to begin but many others following suit. College scholarships are out there for this. Club will enter competitions. This will remain a club until a league is started.
